Privacy Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026. Applies to the Pairwell app and pairwellapp.com, operated by 3S Systems Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The short version

Your photos are used to build your closet and your outfits, and for nothing else. We don't sell data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your face to train anything. You can export or delete everything from inside the app whenever you like.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, a display name if you give one, and sign-in records (device, time).
• Your closet: photos of clothing you upload, the tags we generate from them, and any edits you make.
• Your base photo: the photo of yourself that outfits are rendered onto. This is sensitive data and we treat it that way.
• Outfits and checks: the outfits we generate, the renders, your ratings, wear history, selfie checks and shop checks.
• Location: only if you set a city for weather. It is coarse (latitude/longitude you enter) and never tracked in the background.
• Usage and billing: which features you use and how often (to run the service and keep it fair), and subscription status from the app store you bought through. We never see your card number.

How we use it

• To run the service: tag your items, generate outfits, render them on your photo, answer "should I buy this", plan trips.
• To send you the things you asked for: sign-in codes, your Sunday plan, invitations and product updates you can switch off.
• To keep the service healthy: usage counts, error logs, fraud and abuse prevention.

AI processing

Pairwell uses Google's Gemini models to tag clothing, generate outfits and render try-on images. Your photos and item details are sent to Google for that processing under Google's paid API terms, which do not permit Google to use that data to train its models. Processing happens when you use a feature and is not continuous.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Cloudflare (database and photo storage), which uses data centres worldwide. Sign-in emails are delivered by our email provider. We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.

Your rights

• Export: More → Account → Export my data gives you everything as a file.
• Delete: More → Account → Delete my account removes your photos, closet and history. There is a 7-day grace period in case you change your mind; after that it is permanent.
• Correct or ask: email hello@pairwellapp.com. We answer within two business days.

Children

Pairwell is for adults. We don't knowingly accept accounts from anyone under 16.

Legal basis and jurisdiction

We follow Canada's PIPEDA. If you are elsewhere, we extend the same rights to you. Questions or complaints can also go to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
